Candida albicans an opportunistic fungal pathogen produces biofilm for structural protection and communicative connection. Biofilm plays an important role in its resistance to many antifungal agents resulting in clinical challenge. Garcinia mangostana Linn. or mangosteen has shown antimicrobial activity and anti-biofilm formation of bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus mutans. This study aims to examine the effect of G. mangostana extract on C. albicans ATCC10231 growth and biofilm formation. The peel of G. mangostana was extracted by ethyl acetate and fractionated using column chromatography technique. The chemical contents were determined by HPLC-PDA. A microdilution method was performed to evaluate the effect on C. albicans growth. Adhesion
